Registered participants may receive access to an Ovisan preparation resource before class. It supports review and readiness and does not replace the instructor-led BLS course.

How long does the BLS class take?
A full instructor-led BLS Provider classroom course typically takes approximately 4 to 4.5 hours, including skills practice and testing.
Is BLS the same as a regular CPR class?
No. BLS includes CPR and AED skills plus ventilation, multi-rescuer response, and team-based emergency care.
Do I need previous BLS experience?
First-time participants do not need to already hold a BLS Provider eCard. Renewal registration is intended for returning participants.
Will I practice with manikins and an AED?
Yes. Instructor-led BLS includes hands-on skills practice using appropriate CPR manikins and AED training equipment.
How long is the BLS Provider eCard valid?
After successful completion of all applicable course requirements, the BLS Provider Course Completion eCard is valid for two years.
Can Ovisan provide training for our organization?
Selected on-site options are available in Central Florida depending on group size, location, and scheduling.
